Thinking about adding a club lsd from guard. Asking a local competent shop to do the install. Any idea how to vet a shop? I live in Syracuse, ny. There are not many options.

 

You should reach out to Guard and see if they have worked with any shops around there. That's where I would start.

 

Guard only sells to certified installers from my experience.

 

Hi I noticed much going on with your build... your not that far away bring it down to NJ Hanover and have Paul do the install. H ehas done this in my previous 964 and will get it right.

Call Matt at Guard directly (text me if you need the number) and ask him who is an approved Guard install shop in your area. Only then will you know for sure. This is not an area you want to skimp on as an improperly installed diff will destroy your R&P...

 

I started talking to guard. There are *no* places around that do this. There is a good shop willing to try I think, but I'm thinking I should just drive my car to a bigger locale and get it done...
