Cold Start
Does anyone know of a tuner that will turn the cold start function off for a reasonable charge? I have a 3" Speedtech exhaust on my car and (100 cell cats and no mufflers). I love the sound, but at cold start it's terrible.

It is even worse now with my Hellcat. That thing sets off car alarms a block over. But I do the same thing. Slip the (auto) into reverse which drops the cold idle way down and quiets the engine/exhaust considerably and just ease the car out and get on down the road.
I'm trying to hurry out of the garage as quickly as possible, with as little throttle as possible. I also park in a deck for work, so it's obnoxious when I leave work. My preference it to turn it off.

Did he say why? Not being able to have cold-start delete on a catless car is pretty lame.
I believe he is running 100 cell cats. My car is louder when I remove the cats, I run 200 cell with my Speedtech. If I left for work early in the morning (like 6 or 7am), I would be hesitant to take the turbo, my car is not my DD.
Roger that, was just curious if its something he CANT do or WONT do as I'm catless and would like to switch to Sam/CobbAP at sometime in the future and was hoping to get cold start coded out.
The intake valve low lift feature is switched on. The engine is fueled richer than even the cold start requires to provide excess fuel which is burned in the exhaust. The excess fuel may be injected with a 2nd injector pulse which is timed to ensure the fuel is carried out the exhaust to avoid the risk of washing the oil from the cold cylinders. At any rate with my stock Turbo I could hear the backfires from the exhaust.
I just found as soon as I had let the engine run just long enough to believe it would be ok -- which really took just a few seconds -- to shift into reverse and back the car out of the carport and drive off kept the racket to a minimum.
