Question Clutch/gear engagment problem

Have sachs light flywheel racing clutch, besides noise been fine until recently.Out of the blue tried engaging gear wont engage, fully depressed clutch and no movement on gear lever.Usual noise of fly wheel also not there anymore.Did engage eventually, but almost impossible to move to another gear.In shop now, they opening up the transmission.Any ideas on what could be wrong?Would appreciate. Thanks guys

It is the pressure plate. If it is the one I think it is this is common. Sachs claims it is an install issue with the way the plate is torqued to the flywheel. the clutch will need to be removed and replaced. I doubt it is on the tranny. Seen this too many times. Of course I could be wrong. Would not be the forst time.
