Stop doing pulls!!! you are going to kick the head gaskets out or melt something. Look at your electrical connection to the fuel tank, is it melted? discolored? If on stock pump replace it anyway and like pwdrhound said check the hose in tank, they split.

I needed to do one pull. That's it, just one full pull for data logging. I'm getting my fuel pressure gauge today. I'm pretty positive I have limited pressure. Yah. I'm going to buy the entire fuel pump assembly if needed. I'll take a look at the Walboro too. Thx

I got my gauge, but of course it's still a PITA because the schrader valve on my fuel line was so counter sunken that I could not get the needle to depress and allow pressure release, so I had to dremel a notch in a flathead screwdriver and just loosen it enough to where it can depress. LOL Drumroll....freakin' 28PSI fuel pressure. My baby was going through forced starvation so it seems. : ( ... Obviously going to start shopping for the whole fuel pump assembly now. What's the deal with Porsche fuel pumps? I must have owned at least 50 cars and only my Cayenne Turbo and 996 Turbo have ever had a fuel pump go out. My 300ZX has DOUBLE factory HP and still OEM fuel pump with 142K on her. Anyway, I'm just about 100% positive my fuel pump is toast. My only concern is what if I was not able to loosen the schrader valve enough for an accurate reading. Doubt it. Off to shopping again. Thx very much for all your help. I'll be back after I get my new pump and install it. Peace!
Thanks again to you all.

The Walbro is a great pump if you can control it with PWM and scale output based on demand. I use the 525 and it's fantastic. Way too many people overcomplicate it and get in over their head when there is no need. Good luck...

I just wanted to say "thank you!" to all you guys who provide input. It was my fuel pump. I have a new factory fuel pump now and she is running better than ever. I'm thankful for all who helped and to this great forum. Peace!!!

good you got it sorted. weird it was the FP.

i've had two go bad and they tend to go quickly especially when the line splits.. cpl false starts and then dead. at least when they die, you kinda know right away it's a "lack of fuel" issue.
