I don't mind it though. I just look around to make sure nobody will hit my doors, scope the area to see I'm not being car-jacked, put on my club & push the blinking light button, check for any hot babes walking by so I get my timing right as I step out of the car, and finally make sure my dentures and wig are in place for my final departure.

That takes 1-2 minutes...so the timing is perfect.
i guess i can take the time to unmat my chest hair from my gold medallion/chains. oh wait, that's my '94 vette

Only bad experience I ever had was when I let an FD3s cool down (Apex Timer) and I walked away.... The Expansion tank busted and I was inside the building..... Lucky I caught it and ran outside in time to cut the car off manually before all the fluid drained and the motor burned.

Crazy story but true..... I would still put the timer in again. This was a rare situation that I'm sure would never happen twice.....

The keys are chipped and the car willnot run if not present. You would have to have a key inside the car. At that point when the driver left the car would not arm when the timer shut off. It thinks you are still in the car.

Just let the car idle a minute and you will be fine.
