Hey guys... curious as to what the quarter mile time is for a stock 996TT X50 be?... would it be in the low 12s? or high 11s?

in reality.... it will be very hard even for the expert(us) to run an x50 that fast.... its hard run it at stage 4 at 11.7 to 11.5 sec let alone an x50 with 470 HP... and Im simply speaking form my experience... yet I know thats Scott ran his at 11.7 just with satge 2... and I think an evo v flow. but taht was I think on a nice cool 55 degree weather.... I run mine in the summer and its really tuff... the launch / wheel hop, PSM cutting really sucks...
just my opinion...

I ran my '01 K-16'd 996TT to a 12.2 sec 1/4 mile with just exhaust and 19" wheels on an 88', hot GA summer day. A good driver *should* be able to beat that time with an X50 turbo'd 996TT.

Like Mark said above, your time is going to vary greatly depending on weather. A good driver will also produce the better times where the average driver could lose 5% - 10% in the same conditions. If you can lock the tires to the pavement, this is the best time of year in Chicago to record some remarkable numbers. LSD to beneift the TT greatly.

I've seen alot of people around here run QUICKER in the 1/4 than most magazine times. But I guess it depends on the car/driver itself.
