Went to the GT2/GT3 style clutch system (no pressure accumulator) recently, and have had two clutch master cylinders fail in a matter of days.
Everything was good both times initially regarding pedal travel, feel, etc. Bled the system really really well.
Then two or three days later the pedal is really soft and just goes to the floor, and does not go back up. The clutch slave cylinder check out fine both times.
Any ideas???
TIA

Not just bled, but SUPER flushed out. I recall reading that there are some chemical incompatibility issues with the pentosin and the dot 4, I think... someone else with more experience on this will probably add more info shortly
Some people have needed to change the old rubber hose by the trans too
Sounds common. I did two masters right away and I've known many who also do the swap and even after flushing everything they have to replace a bad master. Pentosin sucks. If you're not getting any movement, try reverse bleeding from the slave back to the master. If still nothing, might have another bad master. I'm on my 3rd OEM gt2 master in only a few years. I just had a clutch line fail and surprisingly the master crapped out as well when I went to bleed it. I think the seals are also very sensitive to being dry and pushing your foot on the clutch as it seemed to crack my seals inside (I took it apart).

I did not flush my fluid out enough and I had a master cylinder go out in 2 days. No DOT 5 unless 100% flushed as that can not mix with DOT 4. Seals dissolve.

Yea, DOT 4 only. I see no reason to use DOT 5 regardless.
Update:
It seems my problem is gone.
I got a new clutch master cylinder, replaced the feed line #12, reservoir line #10, and the o-ring #13.
The o-ring has two different part numbers one for the GT2/GT3 and the Turbo. They are dimensionally the same but made of different compound.
