turbo cab way overrated

i don't think the turbo in a cabriolet is any big deal. a big part of maintaining the body flow and continuity of the car is keeping it a coupe. in addition, the turbo cab with a more pronounced rear spoiler will look ridiculous. cabriolet version makes the turbo go from a aggresive caged animal to a sporty honey i'm going to the supermarket look. jmo. ok guys start firing back!

hey that's why they say opinions are like *******s, everyone has one

I think it's gorgeous and it's definately gonna put another option out there when people are looking at the likes of the SL55, the Aston, and even the 360

I went with the C4S because the lines on the coupe in my opinion are much nicer than the cab.

Now, wait a minute....what's wrong with this look?...other than the stock suspension which I plan to fix when I can afford it.

Andrew, I bought the PORSCHE letters from Tweeks. They are the OEM letters used on pre 74 911s that stretched across the back of the engine cover. Each letter is separate with a stem and fastner.

I cut the stems off and sanded the backs smooth, painted them with AS paing and clearcoat from www.paintscratch.com , put 3M 2-way tape on the backs, measured and stuck them on. Time consuming, but not rocket science

Holly big-pic-files Mr Don......I need a bigger screen (and a a bigger pipe) for those ....all seriousness aside, I agree w/DrBill.

Another way to put it would be, this car is too big, too wide, too much of a brute, to be a cab.........I'm from the old school that cabs s/be cut from a diff cloth......obviously, to each his own.

soon2be 993 tt I think you are getting a bit on the defensive here. NC Bob was just giving his opinion and if I remember right someone was saying opinions are like *******s everyone has one. btw, under your profile birthdate states N/A. For any reason?

Dr. Bill, I cannot agree with you more. Chopping the top off a turbo is like taming a wild beast. Makes it more of a chick car.

never got around to putting that in, i'll get right around to that for ya

I don't think I got defensive at all, I never knew it was a requirement to be on this board and state your opinion; that's all. If anyone was getting testy and arrogant it was him. I didn't know it was his board to make decisions on who should and shouldn't be here.

but as most outsiders would say he sounds like the typical porsche owner (just f'in w/ you guys )
