Jic suspension $$

I'm thinking about getting suspension done. who and what are the best prices for this suspension kit? what if anything else should i get to complete the kit meaning swaybars , droplinks? how hard is it to install or how much is the average cost of installation? I live in nj and drive a 03 wht tt. this is going to be my first mod. where would be the best place to buy from/install any info would be helpful.

thanks in advance

I am also going to be getting the JIC suspension. Anyone have any ideas on what settings to use for alignment?

Thanks,
Kunal

It depends what you want, honestly. More aggressive (track-like setup) will mean more toe and negative camber, but that will also mean more wear.

You want at least 1' of negative camber in the rear; I believe that -1 to -1.5' is within factory spec.

I love my JICs. I have the 7kg front/10kg rear setup. That is more of a street setup, yet still much more stiff than that stock suspension. You can go with a more stiff spring rate if you plan to track more. It should come with curved droplinks. Make sure to ask for them. You will have your pick of the sway bars that you can buy separately. GT3, H&R, etc...

Installation will be about $1000 give or take. Shop around.

I'm having JIC at 7/10 installed today. I picked the coilovers up for 1200 bucks and am having controll arms placed in the back. Installation isn't too bad, i'll let you know

Second that. I have 9kg/12kg with H&R's. Perfectly liveable for street despite less than perfect roads. The curved droplinks should be out by now. Make sure you ask for them. Install/alignment should be about $1K or so.

i just test-drove my car w/ motons (had JICs before) and, sadly, there's no comparison.

something might have been wrong w/ my JICs (i suspect a bad shock) but the overall feel of the car is still 2x better. more than willing to sell them if someone wants to deal w/ that - $1000?

i will post some once i pick up the car on Mon & i get a bit of driving time.

I saw your broken JIC drop links, and they don't look pretty

I've never heard anyone complain about Motons. I guess there is a reason why they command top dollars!
