SigAddict is infamous around these parts
Thumbs up This fixed the leaks on both of my spoiler rams

First my driver side ram started leaking. I didn't have stop leak handy, but did have some https://www.amazon.com/Finish-Line-Suspension-Spray-Aerosol/dp/B06XGW8K1D]Finish Line Max Suspension Spray <-link) for my mountain bike forks. I figured why not try. I raised the spoiler, cleaned the ram (shiny metal part that connects to the spoiler and see when you raise the spoiler) and then applied the spray without getting it on the paint (that is not easy btw, I now spray it on a toothbrush and apply multiple times around the ram at the lower point). I then lowered the spoiler and brought it back up. There was quite a bit of dirt that came up on the ram. I again cleaned everything with a towel, reapplied and lowered the spoiler. This time when I raised the spoiler, the ram looked much cleaner. Wiped it off, cleaned it one more time, reapplied the spray, and lowered the ram. I raised and lowered it a few times, leaving it lowered overnight. That 100% stopped it from leaking and it hasn't leaked for about 6 months now. During the six months the other side started leaking. Same thing, cleaned, and applied the spray. I did that again till it raised with little debris/dirt on the ram and then would clean and reapply the spray. Again, I ran it up and down a few times, and then left it lowered overnight. Same thing, that ram has not leaked since. I clean each ram and reapply the spray ever single wash to keep them lubricated.

I don't know how long this will last, or if it will work at all for you, but as cheap as the spray is, it's definitely worth a shot. I do not know if it is bad for paint, but I make sure not to get it on the paint, and if I do, I make sure to clean it off. Both rams are now completely dry.

At some point I plan on flushing the fluid and adding the appropriate amount of ATP AT-205 to the system as well. If this gets me by for a few years, it would be amazing.

Hope this helps!

i managed to keep mine fully functional for at least ten years with re-bleeds as there seemed to be minor seepage at the banjo's but i always kept an eye on them and re-filled pre-emptorily to avert full failure. i was quite proud lol.

then i moved into snow country late last year and they bought the ghost under a few feet of residual snowfall.. once unearthed.

so, once the pump itself is leaking. all bets are off as that needs to be "rebuilt". i had a "fixed wing kit" = a bag of bolts from an ebay seller ( still around too! ) that i bought 10 years ago, and never needed. until now.

i now have the wing "fixed" in the up position with my strosek wing, and wonder why i just didn't do this sooner.

GL with yours.

You have cleaned the outer chrome cylinders which is good. But this will not fix leaks or any of the several weak points within the hydraulic mechanism. You will need to go through the refill and bleed process at some point. BTW the fluid in the system is Pentosin PS fluid. Great stuff as long as it doesn’t leak out and puke down the back bumper like mine did around 6 years ago.

Thanks, sure wish you wanted a wing that went up and down without all the hydraulic craziness!

We call our patented electric spoiler system the "eRam Kit™", which can be found HERE.
