I drove a 996 Turbo cab and it felt like it came out of *******jack box, so many squeaks and rattles and shakes. But when the weather is warm, and the top comes down, all is forgiven for a little while anyway. I wouldn't trade a coupe for a cab unless you are 100% sure you want a cab. Otherwise you are very likely to end up trading a car you like for one you don't, and paying handsomely to do it too....

 

I guess its a personal thing but i just cant understand why anyone would prefer a cab over a coupe. Who wants to sit in the sun in the wind. Coupe= quieter, stiffer, lighter, safer, prettier... better

 

For those that experience lots of rattle, did you drive new or used? A lot of used cabs are rattle prone but with some fixing, they all went away.

 

That's always fun ... buy a new car than keep taking it back to fix rattles ...
