Silly Rabbit Motorsport - are these guys real??
list updated. They were completely removed from 6 Speedonline some time ago. I’ll check for the exact date. Looks like it’s been more than ten years. I’m wondering how current members are still being harmed by these guys when they have no presence here. Are they operating under wraps (only by private message or email) with a non vendor account? If you are ever solicited by pm or email when you did not request such contact pease contact us!
because they sell drop in fuel kits for the 996tt that are half of the competitors. and other parts for the platform. Members talk, share their experiences, mine have been good with Sean@SRM, others have not..
Ive been on here since 2007 and never once looked at the sponsor page. And not for nothing, being a vendor on here just means the mods will clean up a mess for you....ooo i've said too much, ill be banned now.
tell that to the several sponsors I have banned over the years…in fact, in the 16 years I’ve been here I have banned more sponsors than members….I guess you could interpret that as cleaning up their mess! This forum is free for you because the sponsors pay the freight. It would be nice if you would at least consider them when deciding on a purchase. What have you done that you think merits banning?
I sourced the 12mm ARP studs for Sean back when he was selling bespoke sets for 2 grand, that threw a lot of business his way. You'd think it would make me a decent customer...
Bought a bunch of parts off him, but he didn't send the cometic gaskets which were cut to size, when I enquired he replied "well that's weird" and never sent me them. I'm sure he thought I was after a free set, Lord knows why.
I sold the fuel system, it didn't meet the standards of my installer and he had problems with them, I think it was the wiring and connectors.
I also bought some fuel rails, but ended up getting my money back through PayPal when they never arrived.
He does make some decent parts though, just very difficult to deal with. I try to avoid at all costs, but if he's got what you want, what's the alternative.

" what's the alternative" ..... Don't want what they have! Find another way to achieve your goals. They are simply not worth the hassle. If you must have what they offer than you must come to terms that your project will become long winded and extremely frustrating.. Simply, Don't do it ! I was warned and learned my lesson.
