Hi not sure how to post this vendor alert on SRM.
I purchased at set of Carillo Rods from SRM on 26th February and despite many promises from them they have not arrived, no reasons given just 'I'll get me team on it" from a guy called James Vizzo, recently I asked them to cancel and refund, again apologies and promises to refund and they still havent.

I know what you mean... I tried to buy something from them once - money in hand and they couldn't be bothered to get back to me when the production run was completed. I wasn't impressed so I never went back.
The key to working with SRM is to keep hounding them so they don't forget you. They make some great parts and are talented but often have what I would call forgetful service. I had them do the head studs for my build and they turned out great. I also have their brushless fuel pump system with the Veyron pump and a 3 speed controller.
they used to have a good rep for the parts like the FP mentioned above that they were/are? able to cnc machine.
i suspect that CS was not their strong suit and then the flu hit. which changed most everything. for other than the most established ( usually non indie ) suppliers.

Hi Guys, like to advise that SRM picked up and advised me that the person who was dealing this order has left, a new guy call Will Flores took over the order and has it shipped and on its way to me, even though it been a 4 month marathon I'm happy its being fixed. Thank you Will at SRM

I ordered 1.0bar wastegate Gate actuators (WGA) from them... They sent me parts for a Audi S4. When I called them, they said Sean will personally make sure I get the correct parts. I received the new parts.... They are for the 996 turbo BUT stock spring actuators! I gave up on SRM and just welded the rods and mountings from the wrong parts to make them work. I am really not impressed with them. Only used them because they were the only ones with WGA in stock, otherwise... Avoid. They really do live up to their name...

I ordered a set of I/C's a couple years ago. Took 6 months to receive. When they finally arrived they were damaged. They were shipped in a tote and very well packaged. I/C's were all dented. It was quite clear these were sent this way. Sure enough, I called them and I was told to beat up the tote and send pictures so they can make a claim. They would not send replacements untill they received damaged units back. I was then told I had to pay shipping back and shipping on replacements. What B.S. ! I was then told I would receive a refund for cost incurred when they settled the claim. I reluctantly agreed. Once again I had to wait months for a replacement. New ones finally arrived and pressure testing revealed pin holes in welds. I called numerous times and never received a call back. Finally I fixed units myself. 3 years later and I still have not received my reimbursement for cost incurred. And they got paid on the claim.
NEVER AGAIN !

Got some BS story about some former employee using their account. Then said they would send parts. 3 weeks later, never received and had to use Paypal to get money back.

I’m wondering how current members are still being harmed by these guys when they have no presence here. Are they operating under wraps (only by private message or email) with a non vendor account? If you are ever solicited by pm or email when you did not request such contact pease contact us!
