GT2 Pricing
GT2 Pricing
Howdy,
I'm looking at a 02 GT2 with 200 miles on it. It's a pretty basic car with about 4K in options, 2K of which is paint (Polar Silver). Asking price is $152K. Does that sound about right? Any feedback would be great!
Thanks in advance.
Roy

Duane, agreed but this thing has only 200 miles. Like new!
Suggestion, have them pull the data from the ECU in your presence (make the request while you are standing there). Pay for it if you have to. If you have no big overevs, new car for big discount!

hmmm. that is way too high unless you are using their financing and can't get your own. i can buy 500 mile 03's for 150-155
i paid 140 for a new 02 with 30 miles 9 months ago. i will pay less for my next one. private seller all cash is the cheapest source. i was "born to grind" and it takes work to get these prices.

Don't listen to the Wattster, he thinks GT2's should sell for nothing -- so he can get a good deal on the next used one he's planning to buy (he's already sick of his current GT3 -- it's way too slow). Besides, he just sold an '02 with 7K plus miles (beat to ****) for ~$140K.
Roy: The price sounds good to me (you might be able to grind for a little bit better price, but it's in the ball park) -- you'll love the car. It's really a totally different driving experience than the Turbo. I didn't believe it until I had a chance to get some serious seat time in the GT2. Good luck on the purchase.

Saw a Slate Grey 02 for around $146K with around 250miles at Ellis a few weeks ago when I was in Atlanta. It was a private seller not owned by Ellis and owner is willing to get rid of it. The only thing I saw was a damaged lip spoiler and it also was outside in the weather. It may still be there. It's the Ellis dealer on Peachtree.
