What oil to use in 2004 6 speed turbo

Wondering what is the best oil to use in my 2004 6 speed 996 turbo. Can't seem to find anything in the owners manual

Remember to drain from both crankcase and oil tank. Some also drain the 2 turbos.

Thanks for your response but I should have been more specific so I have edited the post. Wanting to change transmission and front diff fluids. Have already done the engine.

Diffs and transmission either Mobil 1 delvac or Porsche fluid. Engine use M1 0w40 or 5w50. I drain the oil pan, oil tank and both turbo drains

Yes to the M1 Delvac 75/90. Alternately Redline 75/90 is fine too.

Thanks to you! I will now remember to check the front diff re oil. I re-installed it after 10 years of non use and "rwd" and now back to "awd".

I would imagine running without a front diff would drastically change the handling.... how did that work out for you ? Would look at doing this should the front diff ever fail. Car is only driven in summer months.

I enjoyed and even preferred it, but this was when the car was 100% canyon driven and in LA/SB counties where rain ( used to be? ) a rarely seen phenomenon. But now the car lives in an area where speed limits don't matter and twists and turns rarely exist. But regularly sees real "weather" especially in winter. ( still on the usual summer tires! )

But I never changed the uprights to fully convert the car to rwd. Simply added a wavetrac and removed the cardan shaft as I figured some day I'd "need" to reverse it and revert back to awd. I've had a lot of 911's so tailwag was something I was used to, and rwd really allows the throttle to assist in "steering" the car in canyons. On the street/highways, it's a waste of time. Highway driving is not what I feel suits the car best.

Why not just pull the cardan, given you have the Guards already! At least that'll give you a feel for it and then you can decide if you want to fully convert with the gt3 ( or similar ) uprights and whatever suspension changes if any etc. I really liked the RWD experience even thought the front diff was 60 lbs of dead weight! It still did what I wanted it to do. No downside to handling that I was able to discern. Totally changed the car!

I've driven the car on the street with the cardan shaft removed and I can't say that it really felt any different. I need to remove it for a track day and then see what I think. Even if I do delete the front diff, I doubt I'll change the uprights, as then I'll also have to change the front coilovers. Between those two parts that's serious money. I've got the stub axles right now to pull everything out and just run with the uprights and coilovers I've currently got.
