update:
guys thanks for all the replies and the help..

after an hour of being under the car..and struggling with all these tools, i got all 8 13mm nuts off the cats...for now i just loosened them up...

i hope that was the hardest part..

ill have my toolbox early in the morning..i guess ill need a 6mm allen key and 22mm wrench for the o2 sensors..

from what i understand i need to first lower the exhaust, then remove the 02 sensors with the 22mm wrench. correct?

thanks for all the help..

1/2" wrenches will usually fit fine on a 13mm nut. I used an assortment of 1/2" wrenches to get the top nuts tight.

Hey Air go to Imagine autos web site for the exhaust link. Wait the link is above a few posts. The arc shaped 13 mm box wrench is the one you need. Makes life much easier. A p[icture of the tool is on the link. Goodluck

Actually, first unplug the o2 sensors from their connectors near the airbox. Make sure to do this FIRST before you drop the exhaust. Otherwise, the cord that connects the o2 sensors will be pulled tight (and possibly tear in half).

When you go to put the new exhaust back on, take some string, dangle it down into the engine bay and pull up the o2 sensors so that you can connect them once the exhaust is fully back on.

Yep. Those bands will be the last thing holding your exhaust up, but if you have a long enough screw-driver, they will slide to the side rather easily. Once those bands are off of their hooks, you can drop the exhaust.

I won't lie, doing your own work....on a 911 turbo of all vehicles, brings a sense of satisfaction that is hard to place a dollar figure on. Sure, we can all go out and spend the cash needed to have it done for us, but every once and a while it is fun to get dirty and look back at our accomplishments with a giant grin.
