996 Turbo / GT2 Turbo discussion on previous model 2000-2005 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo and 911 GT2.

Will we start seeing ALOT more turbos as prices keep coming down?

Case in point: using quotes like this...

Makes it hard to take you seriously, don't you think?
It's the Internet, I can project any type of impression I wanted to without popping a vein.

I can say, "Do you agree?" if I'm feeling sterile and civil. I can say, "Tru dat ma nigglet." if I'm feeling high and mighty on hip-hop. I can say, "No doubt holmes." if I feel like integrating some hispanic/mexican/latin spice to my tone. I can, "Beleee Dat." if I plain outright feel like being an illiterate black rapper.

Pt. is, you take the holistic perspective of a specific argument/conversation/response whatever, and you pass judgement on that portion which is logical and in a more serious context. What you don't do, is retort with something based on one tiny facet of my argument, which was intended for comic relief btw, and make a hasty, and ridiculously unfair and ridiculously discriminatory remark against young people.

Age doesn't equate to wisdom.

If it did, hypothetically, that means I'm half as intelligent as you but can afford the same standard of lifestyle as you at half your age. I wonder if that makes you look more stupid than it does me. Food for thought.

BTW, my friend picked up an 02 TT for 85K, 33,500 miles. Arctic Silver w/ techart body enhancements. SF BAY AREA.

None of which requires that I take you seriously

Spoken like a youngster.

I am talking about wisdom, not intelligence. Having spent the better part of the last 20 years on Wall Street, I know quite a few young people who are highly intelligent. Intelligence does not equate to wisdom, the smartest young people I know frequently exhibit surprisingly poor judgement.

By the way, I seriously, seriously doubt that you can afford the same standard of lifestyle that I do, unless you are a member of the lucky sperm club. I am a partner at one of the largest and most successful hedge funds in the industry. It will take a lot more than being able to afford a 996TT to eat at my table, junior.

Food for thought...

another food for thought...

How much money would you pay to be 20 years younger? ;-)

being 30 and able to afford a 996TT is not a bad position to be in.

Lightbulb

Damn. This place really DOES NEED MORE MODERATORS

I moderate on other sites and I would have shut down this thread on the first "who's got the smaller *****"-type post.

If one has a prejudice against another . . . what exactly do you gain by attacking that person over the net

Senseless, useless, and utterly futile; but it is antagonistic
