Fabspeed Intake?

Hey guys, just in the market to max out my K16's before i finally relaize i want a monster setup haha, but anyway was just on Fabspeed's website looking at the muffler bypass pipes which im prob. going to do, and then noticed they came out with their own 996tt intake kit, here's the info. Dont know how new it is and if anyone has any experience with it, performance gains, sound, issues??

Here is the WORLDS finest 996 Twin Turbo airintake system. This Fabspeed engineered system fits all 996TT cars INCLUDING the X50 and GT2 cars. Benefits:

1) Allows unobstructed airflow to the Twin Turbo engine for MAXIMUM POWER.
2) More airflow than any other system available anywhere in the world.
3) COLD AIR is force feed to the engine by the stock FAN and snorkel. See the photo above as the FAN blows directly onto the airfilter and the intake snorkel dumps cold air to the filter.
4) Easy to install and saves weight. CNC air craft machined with T304SS drip edge.
5) Retains stock MASS AIRFLOW sensor grate and location for maximum power and no Check Engine Light.
6) More sports car sound and you can hear the TURBOS and intake working so you have MORE EXOTIC hightech sound!
7) Reuse either stock paper airfilter or K&N and or BMC F1 airfilter
$575.00
$695 with BMC F1 airfilter

Thanks guys, Martin.

you've got to be kidding me. Who needs the E-Ram electric supercharger when you can have this for a paltry $695?

Looks like it will suck in a lot of hot air when the car is not moving and that super high velocity fan is not forcing prodigous amounts of cold air onto the filter.

It really sets off the engine bay and screams quality. Nice aerodynamic speed holes in that super cool bracket too. Please tell me neons are optional with this; perhaps under that high tech "CNC air craft machined with T304SS drip edge". Where do I sign up?

Wait a minute.....hmmmmm.....I know, I know....its a multipurpose piece!! Just imagine when you are done with your Sunday morning run, you can open your engine comparment and slide your new RED HOT grill out to make lunch (now you can leave the George Foreman Grill at home) !!...Just bring your own meat, chicken or fish and within 5-10minutes, your food is ready! After lunch just slide back into position and it turns into an instant airfilter system for your Porsche!
