Modding an X50 TT

It looks like I am going to settle with an 03' X50

As far as adding extra HP/TQ... What is the best bang for the buck? What will it yield? What are my options?

Exhaust, intake and chip should make you happy...later you will want more (hence why Mark suggests to just do it now).

Exhaust, diverter valves, and a chip should make you happy for a little bit. With the K24s, you are lucky that you can jump to a stage 3 pretty easily.

The best bang for the buck on a X50 is ECU, FPR,Air filter and youv'e got 530 real hp all for under 3K.

I have an '03 X50 as well and just went through this. I agree that the GIAC flash, DV and intake will really wake up your car. But you have to change out the exhaust! You'll pick 30-50+ HP depending on what system you go with and it will sound as good as it looks! The stock exhaust weighs 55lbs! (I weighed it last night) I went with EVO stage 4 and a medium/moderate Fabspeed. Love it!!! Oh..If you don't have a shorty shifter, it would be my first mod looking back. Its cheap and feels fantastic. (I have B&M)

You have the the x50 car so you already have k24's. Go with a stage 4 - you will need to do stage 3 software, DV, headers, and exhaust. Check your pm

Hate to be the party pooper here, I know we all love mods, but you just went from a NA 996 to a TT doesnt that mean you just added 100hp??
Cheapest upgrade for the money, upsolute chip, but at this point my vote would be SSK and a suspension upgrade. Enjoy your new car first and mod stepwise and later. (sorry guys)
