Symptoms of leaky boost hoses?

I am wondering if my boost hoses are leaking. Im assuming that they are stock. I just got a psm+ abs failure then a CEL while under full boost. There was an abrubt cutoff of boost while I was gunning it in third, sounded like a muffled gunshot but not quite as loud. then the lights. A few minutes later i tried boosting it a little again and it felt pretty normal, I think i got to .9 or 1.0 bar. Would I still be able to reach this boost if my hoses were leaking?
BTW my car is evo stage 2 and has been reaching as much as 1.3 bar.
I disconnected the battery for 30 mins and restarted it and got abs and psm within a minute. Didnt see and blown hoses but maybe the connections are leaking or something. Would a leaky boost hose cause my warning lights?

Sounds right.. that's what happens when one of the ends comes out (usually the one from the y-pipe into the intercooler. Since you have an 01 your story seems more likely. The 01s had even crappier factory hoses.

Sharky, would the car still be able to hold some boost in this condition?
Also, is it safe to drive it like this? I plan to take it to evoms but it is a couple of hours from me.

I guess i should just take a look underneath. Will i need to remove the rear wheels?
BTW Ravett thx for the pics!

again after seeing posts like this multiple times I think that these hoses should be changed over to the upgraded silicone version....piece of mind, IMO

It'll likely stall once in a while (depending on how big a leak you have) when coming to a light or something. If you can, I'd take the bumper off and then just pop back any hose that may have come off first

make sure that the ones u get fit.. if u have a 2001tt... cause I had issues on my 2001 tt... apparently, after speaking with Todd Z..., the Y pipe is different from the one he took the molding from... his was a 2003 y pipe... no issues there... but after speaking with a couple of other guys... along with Todd.. it seems like there is a difference between the pipes. I had to file down the tabs on the hoses... Todd offered a solution... I took care of it...

2001s do have different y-pipes (slightly) and you need to file the clips a little. Every other year is 100% tho
