100 cell cats

I have a gemballa exhaust system which I believe has 100 cell cats. It's been great so far and I love the sound.

How long can I expect these cats to last? I don't drive the car too hard and probably put about 8-10K miles per year. When the cats do go, does the entire exhaust system need to be replaced?

It is really hard to say unless you know what the media is? I personally do not know.

kmy,
Did you have any difficulty while installing the exhaust? I did so now I'm still deciding on a different one.

Ron,
My technician didn't have any problems with the install. Seemed to fit fine. Did you order the system from Heinz? So far, I've been very happy with it. Nice deep note at low rpms and high pitch up closer to redline. Not overly loud, just a much fuller sound.
