First mods to the TT...

So I got my first mods done. Yesterday I met up with Tim W. and Mike at Tim's Tint guys shop. So I dropped the car off and we grabbed some lunch.

The tint looks HOT!!! I am not big into to tint but with a black car it looks great I went with a very mild 30% tint all the way around.

Tonight I tackled the B&M SSK, Teq. E-brake, and shifter (BTW ARLING @ LUCENT came through again best price I could find! Shipping was quick too, THANKS Man!). I have done this combo I think 6 or 7 times so I can crack it out in less then an hour. I have the ebay pedals to install, X73 coming next week, Flash soon, and wheels still to come. I am still undecided on the wheels though. I picked up a set of the GT3/GT2 OEM wheels, I don't know if I want to keep them silver or go Flat black and give the TT that stealth look that I do love... Silver looks great too! decisions decisions hmmmm Grrrrr

Sandoval, go for full black wheels or leave a silver lip like the factory painted wheels. Stealth look will be nice!

I saw your post about brake upgrade on 996 section. Do you know what do we need to fit 6 pots GT3 front steels brake into out TT? Thanks!!

Sandoval,
Did you tint the winshield as well?
I just had mine done 50%. The rest of the car is 20% (prev owner did it).
I am concerned about the Scottsdale heat & sun so I did the winshield as well.

Excellent mods Sandoval! Can't beat the X73 for a street driven turbo and the GT2/3 style wheels look great on the turbo. I'd leave them silver and if you wanted, you could paint the stock wheels black. These GT2/3 wheels are rare to see on a turbo.

I too was toying with the idea of flat or gloss back on these wheels. As cool as I think they are, I am keeping mine silver.

It was major improvment Eric. Personally I would leave the wheels silver.

Great hanging out in the afternoon. You make a great cabinet supervisor

Luis only the front, 1/4, and rear. I love the look of tint but I don't like looking through it. So I went very mild with a true black/smoke color.

Ray I will see if I can come up with the info I do not have it off hand.

Tim not a problem I will surf the Net while you work any day!

As for the wheels I will try them in Silver and see how that goes...
