Unless there's something very wrong with White's speedo, I think we have our proof. Holy Crap!
Dude, one handed, you're in need of a check-up from the neck up...

Your boost gage registered 1.5 bar almost the entire time with the exception of a moment when you apparently lifted off the throttle. Do all Stage 4GT's produce 1.5 bar????

Don't mean to rain on the parade BUT!

Nice video and there is no doubt what the INDICATED speedo says but I stand by my earlier statement: unless the top gear has been changed, 6200 RPM is way less than a real 205 MPH! Go read your owners manual and look at what Porsche publishes! Horse power increase will get you to the top faster but rpm/gear x tire footprint=speed. Ask CJV what his top end is! I will guess something less than 190MPH because of his gear changes!

Cheers

R

Ruf,
You picqued some interest here since I hae always been interested in top speed runs. I would like to go through the process of calculating the theoretical top speed of a stock geared 996TT at redline. What is the ratio of engine rpm to wheel rpm in 6th gear?? Anybody??
