02' 996tt S??
02' 996tt S??
I found this on Ebay. Is this a real turbo S or a replica? Badass car either way. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-...QQcmdZViewItem
wow, simply amazing. i don't want to call it a scam but if u don't have photoshop experience u probably can't tell the whole car is photoshoped & most likely fake (even the background). people with PS skill can back me up. the guy is not too bad though.
simply put, there's no Turbo S in 2002.

Hmmm the car looks real to me.
They just used a flash from a different location then the camera and turned down the saturation on the background.
I'm drunk so I can be wrong though!

I'm calling BS on this car. unless it has documentation directly from Porsche stating that it's the only "TurboS" built in '02, then it's probably nothing more than a rebadged X50 TT
Bit of a strange one here! It looks to me like it's been in a pro photo shoot then some photoshop work done on it! You can usually tell by lighting, If you look at the background first and try to tell where the direction of natural daylight is coming from then work out how the car shadows to this, you can see that it has had additional high powered lighting added to the car from the sides and rear (circled), unless the car has been put through a specific 3D lighting programme on a mac. You can possibly catch a lighting glare in the window (circled) from background lighting, but this could also be the pinpoint of the lighting programme used. If you also look at the splitter on the Techart duct, why is there no shadow underneath!!! This is due to light being added from upper and under. There has definatley photoshop work been done, you can confirm this with the over saturation of color (circled) on front splitter. It looks nice but in a bizarre kind of way!

No Turbo S - there should be "Turbo S" badges inside the car.
I think, it is a TT X50 with PCCB, mostly the same as "Turbo S" but not the real thing.

LMFAO! I know, I was a bit **** with it! lol
But serious, if I can help anyone who thinks they are looking at something a bit dodgy in an image, give me a shout. I have been doing graphic design now for the best part of 20+years, anything to try and help!

Doorsill- No "turbo S", just "turbo"
While I do not pretend to be the expert, at least my 05 has the "S" on the doorsill. Was this always the case? If so, we've found the hook.
Happy weekend!
Happy weekend!
is it me or in the 4th picture in from the left, 1st row (4th column, row 1), it doesn't really look like a techart gt-street carbon rear diffuser? or is it just some serious discoloration. the photos look kinda surreal, not vivid or something? i dunno, seems to be very good photoshop work to me. i believe this car is not a real turbo S, but a fake.
