Dyno Conversion number?

Hey guys,

Going to put my car on a Dynojet soon. I know the front tires just spin on some rollers. My stage 4 package from Evo is suppose to produce 600 HP at the crank. what kind of numbers should I expect from the dyno run at the rear wheels? I know there is a conversion factor...anyone have experience?

thanks

Be sure the rollers are connected with gears. Otherwise you WILL blow the viscous coupling....

My stage 3 put down 516 RWHP with the frond driveshfat disconnected with the 91 octane program. I would say divide by 87.5 or .85 depnding on whether you figure 15% or 12.5% drivetrain loss.

12.5% loss on a 2 wheel... and 17.5% on a 4 wheel dyno. thast what EVOMS uses on their dynos and their HP packages..... so I suggest u do the same...
u need to hit about 532 rwhp to have a 600 hp crank car.
good luck...

Does anyone here knows Rotronics dyno's? I'm not sure if all 4 wheels are connected on this dyno. (There are very few of them here in Europe as they're absurdly expensive but I was told they're the most precise of all)

http://www.rotronics.com/PDF_Public/...KP_08_05_I.pdf

EDIT: JUST READ THE LINK AND THEY'RE GEARED!!!
