You Texas guys should look at this ebay 996TT. It is a white beauty, and its price is so low? Does anyone else think there is something fishy?

find me 10 more then i'll say it's a trend (maybe when the 997TT comes out).

In fact I think because of the notoriety, prices have actually picked up

If the car is as advertised then it really is a good deal. Miles are a little high but nothing someone would shy away from at 5K per year. Someone near there should check it out for sh@ts and giggles to let us know.

The 996TT looks great in white; in fact, if I could afford one, it would be a white one. Too bad I could only afford the downpayment.

It's nice but doesn't seem to have any options at all. It's a great way to get in the game though. I prefer to get a fully optioned car(as I did) and pay more. By the time your done with a body kit, sport seats, Carbon, wheels....well you get where I'm going. Of course if you like it simple then....its perfect

White Porsches are beautiful... That's hott!!

That seems like a great deal! I'm waiting on the M3, so sadly I can't touch that... But someone should definately hop on that, if it's in good condition!

This is an out of warranty car. How can "warranty" be available?

Cars are hard to price without inspection, it could easily be an accident car or highly abused, with bad syncros, etc....

It could also be a smoking deal.... hard to say.

I'm selling my '01 with 36k on the clock for $72k, but it was very well taken care of and includes some nice upgrades. Into the "60s" for one just seems a bit too low in my opinion. Then again, it's ebay. I feel that ebay auctions seriously under-cut the market value of our vehicles.

Maybe a 'worthless' aftermarket warranty that doesn't cover everything?

Here's another one with lower miles and some mods (approx 500 hp):

I have seen many cars in the mid to low $60's, some even dropping into the high $50's with some mileage. I saw some of the mid $60 cars during my recent Turbo search that were hurting for some TLC. I also saw some cars in the $80's that needed it as well. It is an interesting market where good deals can be had, but if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Like rwm said, you get what you pay for. A nice, low mileage & well cared for 01 Turbo can still get mid $70's.
