Lug nut locked. Help!

Trying to remove my wheels to put on my new ones and came across the factory anti theft lugnut. Searched all over in the spare tire area but couldnt find an adaptor.
Can anyone tell me where it is usually hidden or maybe someone has one they dont need anymore? Thx
Is there anyway to get it off without the tool?

If you cannot find it, take an impression of the nut with the bottom of a styrofoam cup. Call McGard at 800-669-6887. They should be able to get you a key for it. Or, you can "brute force it" by pounding a socket head over it and hoping it grabs hard enough to loosen it. That's how the thieves do it.

Good luck.

There are 30 different versions of each of the two styles Porsche makes. Any Dealer will have the kit with all of the wheel lock keys. You need to go down to the dealer and see your service advisor, he/she will get them off for you. You can either buy a new key or a new set of wheel locks. They run around $50 for a new set. You can be in and out in less then 20 minutes. I just did it a few weeks ago.

Thx for all the input. Luckily I was able to contact the previous owner of my car and after searching in his garage, was able to find the adaptor. I live 2 hours from a porsche dealer so it would have been a major PITA. Now I just have to wait a few more days to put my new wheels on .

What a great place to keep a locking lug nut key, in the garage...

Glad you found it,
now keep it in your tool kit.
