Bridgestone S02A

Had to replace my rear passenger tire on my 996TTdue to a puncture, and on a holiday weekend, the only performance rated tires I could find were the S02As. I've read all of the reports on the messageboards and on TireRack but I wanted to see if anyone here has had actual experience with them. I had the Pirelli P-Zero asymmetricals. Thanks!

so you're replacing all 4? S02 seem to wear out faster but will do the job well. if you aren't replacing all tires, you should stick with the Pirelli.

I replaced all 4--I was about 75% through on the wear and I didn't want to have the Pirellis up front and the Bridgestones on the rear.

I have them on my turbo S. I like them alot and compared to the P-zero's that I had on my '03 turbo, these are much better. Not very noisy and don't get as greasy on the track.

Much better tire than the Pirellis.

SO2's are a good tire and not bad at the track either.

WHAT is infamous around these parts
I've had all of the N-rated tires on my 996TT at one point or another (except Pilot Ribs), and the S02-As are by far the best.

Just switched to the S02A's from the Pirelli. Much better ride and crisper turn in. I have a set of MPSC for the track so I won't be much help checking them at excessive speeds.
