All Twin turbo and GT3 cars use the dry sump system. It is the same as the 993/964 and so on. We were one of the first to build these motors so we have seen many of them and can also confirm the X50 uses the GT3R Oil pump.

does the dry sump on tt require draining oil at a couple of places like 993? Or only 1 drain plug on the oil pan?

dry vs wet is location of where oil is basically stored. so I believe only one place on tt for drain plug but I may be wrong.

There are 4 places to drain the oil, the oil tank, the case and the two drip tanks from the turbos.

Is there a DIY for changing the oil on the TT showing the 4 draining spots? I guess you should drain the oil when hot on those 4 places, change the oil filter and than just put 8qt of oil and start the engine? I really need thses directions as I'm changing the oil myself for a proper PAO ester synthetic as Motul 5W40 Power.

Yes, do it when warm and start with 8 quarts. Bring up to temp and test the level. You do not want it FULL, rather a notch down from the full mark. Your oil choice is fine.

Why do we not want it full?

They have a tendency to over pressurize the case and smoke more on startup not to mention expansion and the risk of pushing oil up to the MAF. Seen it several times. Dry sump is not critical to actual level as a normal setup. Oil is always moving across the system rather than sitting in the pan. This is something we have done for years on the older 911s. You would be surprised HOW LITTLE oil a 911 can run on.

I am not telling you guys thought because someone might try it

I found the DIY instructions on another Forum (known for this) and it had factory drawings but it doesn't show where to drain the turbos, can you give me a hand with a description of the location and wrench to be used?

Stephen thank you again for the help provided.

Directly under the turbo there is a 8mm allen. This is the drain. There will be one for each turbo. Can't miss it. I will see if I can snap a pic for you.
