A friend is renting a villa down there and we've been invited to spend a week with them. The wives and kids are going by plane whilst the boys take the cars down a day earlier. I think we're going to go via the alps and make it a 2 day journey.

Garey-from the front it's best left to the imagination, not a pretty sight, strange thing to wear when mingling with thousands of England fans who can be a little "boisterous" at times.

Khalid, I heard similar tales with people getting banned from driving on the spot by the gendarmes for going 40 k's over the limit.

Given my experience of last weekend I'll just cruise at 100mph the whole way with the odd "burst" when conditions allow.

95mph, and you will be ok! I already confirmed it, 100 and it's a fine!

Spoke with a few Brit guys that have holiday homes down there and they passed on the do's & dont's!

Stevo I've heard about the BP 102 in the UK but it's pretty rare and is SERIOUSLY expensive, we're talking £2.42 per litre so around £120 per tank (over $200)

Tesco do a 99 Octane which is under £1 per litre which seems to work OK and BP 97 performed very well in a recent petrol test by EVO magazine.

If the 102 was anywhere near reasonably priced I would use it for sure.
