Stage 4GTR - Performance Stats

O.K. The Stage 4 GTR has been around for a little while now. How many of the fortunate owners have clocked the actual performance? I know we will be getting the #'s in the EuroTuner write up (correct mag? / what month?), but I'm very board and truly believe I need to know now. I would love to hear performance numbers for (please specify if in GT ot GT"R" mode):

0 - 60mph: low3's??
0 - 100mph:??
1/4 mile: low 11's?

Please reply fast. I need this fix. We just had a few inches of snow last night and I'm afraid I may not be able to make it to spring!

From what it sounds like Stage GTR is just Stage 4GT with the boost cranked up to 1.5.

ColorChange is infamous around these parts
The R stands for racing gas program. I think the peek boost is adjustable at the time of programming. I for one do not intend to run 1.4 bar at the track. I plan to keep it at 1.2.

I believe you are correct. The "R" program cranks both boost and timing and is to only be used with 100+ octane. Probably not that great for the track, unless it's the straight line (1/4) track we are talking about.

The "1.2" bar program is the regular GT program that can be run on 91 octane, I believe. 640 HP

It would be nice to have a 550 HP option as well on the IBE chip switch thingy. Isn't that the HP level several have commented on as being the optimal road corse HP level?

Hi guys,

My car ran an 11.3. Keep in mind that the car was running 19 HRE's, and street tires. After speaking with Cort and others they all said my car should be capable of high 10's. So I think the 0-60 should be in the very low 3's.

The GTR program is 1.4 bar and not 1.5 and the boost tapers off quickly. I think Todd described this in an earlier thread.

In any case I would go with the GT program, that is what I am on now.

I hope that helps.

Stage 4 GTR was pretty impressive. Great bang for the buck.
