What a road trip this was! Glad that you're finally home with your beast. I don't know why, but "Lost" came to mind when I was reading the airplane episode.

lol....I just found this thread! Congrats Craig...sorry I could not make it to poker...I still have your 10gallons of C16 sitting on the passanger seat of the CGT...There are 9 of us making the run to the rockstore in the a.m. I am excited because I am driving my friends Exige up the hill...From all the people that I have talked to everyone says that the Exige will spank the CGT up the hill to the rockstore....the run is suppose to have an plethora of turns in which the Exige will overtake just about any road car...I spoke with PAKISHO and he said that he wil come to EURO SUNDAY....hope to see you there..

great thread and now with the talk of going up to the Rockstore, it just keeps getting better. Alex, The Exige is supposed to be a great car in tight twisties, which there are plenty of in that neck of the woods. put the two cars on a more open track though, and I'm sure it'd be over pretty quickly with the CGT decisively the victor. I bet the Exige is going to be dominant in Autox circles though.

it's a little restaraunt in Calabasas/Malibu. Some REALLY nice roads on the way there. You'll often see Jay Leno there in his awesome cars.

I finally got some sleep and Im feeling much better. I spoke with Alex and he is planning to go to EuroSunday after his drive. I will be there around 9:45 am (with my daughter, so be nice).

Quote: You can only run the car on 110 or higher? Is this car a daily driver?
The car runs optimally on 110 and, yes, it is a daily driver. I have a gas pump at my house and I have 55 gallon drums of fuel delivered as needed. I used to have 104 octane Sunoco delivered. Now I will be using either C16 or 112 Sunoco. My gas guy is swapping out my two existing drums of 104 for C16 on Monday.

Yes, I am fully aware of my illness, so need to go there.

Craig, how much does it cost to get 104 delivered to your house per barrel? My wife andI were curious, since it's pretty hard to find around here.

Are you going to do any 1/4 mile runs, so we can all be properly awed and amazed? I can't wait to here what kind of times it'll post.

With the recent rise in prices, 104 was costing me about $6.40 a gallon.

I may go to a 1/4 mile track at some point, but I am not rusing to do so because its a 1.5-2 hour drive each way and I will only get one run in before I am kicked out (no roll bar). In the meantime, I will measure performance using my AX22.

I assume you know the AX22 will do 1/4 mile calculations, including rollouts and speeds. I data-logged a run on a drag-strip that used timing beams for the 1/4 and lights for rollouts etc and the AX22 was within 1/100th on ET and 0.1mph on speed............

What a day....I arrived at the rockstore around 10:30am.....Oz was there but I just missed Craig....PAKISHO joined us on the way to the rock store....what a awesome run....The Exige is amazing in short twisties!! I pissed of several GXSR riders in full leather because they could not hang with the Exige around the twisties!! I was going into 35mph sweepers at over 105mph (passing a bike or two)!!! The car stuck like Glue!! Wow...my first though was that it could use anoter 400+hp, however after driving the car (instead of the car driving you) it is just perfect!! Here are some photos of the run....

PAKISHO with his Blown Vette

The Exige was so easy to drive that I was able to snap some photos while passing Doug in his truck...
