Sharkwerks is worse than Costco, I can't seem to leave either place without spending at least $500. Seriously, I won't take my car anywhere else.

Yea, well I just went to get my AWE exhaust installed. When I drove away I had the exhaust, and EVO headers, and EVO diverters, and a GIAC flash, and a smoked rear center lamp, and a heavy duty battery, etc. Somehow I think they find out what the limit is on your credit card and mod accordingly .
And then the ensuing problem for me is twofold in that 1) I can hardly wait to get back and, 2) they're now booked out for 5 weeks. Damn!

There's gotta be something we can do. Any suggestions?

Sharkwerks Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!

Alex and James - Still enjoying the wheels and exhaust. CPO expires in a couple months and I will be ready for the flash and intake. Sounds like I need to make an appt. now. . .

Our pleasure Allan and glad it's going well. Flash and intake is easy peasey and those are done same day usually by yours truly. Take advantage of the CPO and get everything buttoned up under warranty... or just go to Brian. He's really fair about that stuff anyways!

I don't know if it's appropriate to ask here, but what's the hourly charge at Sharkwerks? Thanks.

If you have to ask....

No, seriously. they really take care of their customers. When I was having random CEL problems, I must've gone by there half a dozen times while Alex and James tried different things. Unless it was something seriously time-consuming, like hours of work, they sometimes didn't even bother putting me on the clock

Besides, keeping in mind that James is so efficient at what he does, at the end of the day, you save $$$ just because he works so fast (probably haivng done it WAY too many times)!

I was just curious. I'm fairly new to the area and I've been going to Devek in Redwood City, which is a good drive for me. Sharkwerks is a whole lot closer so if the hourly charge isn't too different from Devek ($125), I might make the change. How are you guys with 993's?

Hi KraZy007, sorry I missed this one and in terms of our rate that's in line with it. James and I own 996/996TT's (and a few other Porsches) but those are the cars we live and breath daily. Of course he does know/understand and has worked with many a 993TT but our speciality is 996s. I just wanted you to be aware of that fact up front. In terms of 993TT's we've obviously done plenty of suspension, exhaust and other bolt-on work...
