Question Difference between Turbo Coupe and Cab

I was thinking of possibly getting a 996 Turbo Cab. some time soon. My questions are does the car feel alot different then the coupe. Is it alot heavier feeling and handle any different?
Reason I ask, my 02 M3 Cab was quite a pig compared to the M3 coupe.

I don't know too many that have both for true comparison, but my cabby handles quite well...best handling cab I've ever owned...although I did do some minor upgrades!

Only advice is to go drive one yourself!

Doesn't feel much heavier. Nicer driving experience imho.

All you really need on a cab is stage II and it makes it a pretty fast car.

I have never driven the cab, but with my past experience with the M, I thought it would have a different road feel. Also is there alot more cowl shake with the Cab? I know Porsche already has a very rigid frame. Thanks for any other info. Also how heavy is the hard top?

Hey Maxwell, I have thought about the 997 also(still growing on me), but really miss that open top feeling. Unfortunately cannot afford both.

Oweyea is infamous around these parts
M3CAB,

Driven both the TTCoupe and own a TTCab. Yes the cab is a few pounds heavier. Change out the exhaust, go with the ceramic brakes and you're pretty damn close to the weight of a stock coupe. As far as ride goes, you'll love the open air feeling in a tt cab! If you're ever is So Cal give me a call and I'll be happy to meet up with you and give you the "experience". Did I mention baby is at stage 4? She'll either put a smile on your face or make you shake!!

Thanks for your experience with both. So I guess both cars are pretty close in weight. My M3 cab was 400+ lbs heavier then the coupe and really felt heavy while accelerating. I also appreciate the offer for the ride.
