Hello. My name is Harold and I am trying to learn more about the Porsche 996 turbos. I have tried to go on Porcshe website but find it to be a little confusing. I have some questions that im sure someone here would be able to help me with, I look forward to buying a Porsche one day and would like to know more about my options. I have gathered that the GT2 is the fastest turbo Porsche except for the Carrera GT, is this true? Any idea what the hp is rated at for both cars? When someone says BHP, how much rwhp does that equal, would I account for the 15% drivetrain loss? I was reading on the non-turbo forum about a RUF Porsche, and idea how much power they typically make? What are the most common power mods for a GT2- Larger twin Turbos, Dyno tuned chips, larger intercoolers?

Do a search... You will find all the info you are looking for.

 

A search will definatly cure your need for more information.
