I was talking to my dealer today about putting 19" Gemballas on my car but he told me to skip it and stick to 18"s due to vibration issues and a very harsh ride that comes with 19"s. He says that lots of people have problems and can never get the

I know I'll loose some ride quality though with PS2s I've heard that the ride quality is actually pretty good. Anyone care to comment?

I went from 18's to 19's and have had no problems, in particular no vibration problems (that would almost certainly be related to a bad mounting job). If your dealer is having customers complain about vibration from their 19's and it can't be fixed, I would go somewhere else to have them mounted (hfg).

The ride is stiff (I think I can feel the paint stipes on the highway), but isn't that the point?

Agree 100%. Did the same and went with Champion RG5's in 19's with PS2's and they ride extremely smooth with no vibration issues at all. I know some time ago there were a batch of PS's that had some problems with vibrations, but have not heard of any lately.

As for feeling the paint lines on the road, I feel them also especially with a lowered and stiffer car.

I have 18's and 19's. In some conditions the 19's handle better.
