I love your 2, that was one of the cars that made me decide to get mine! I would love to see your >3000lb car get the EVOMS treatment, you will be truly unstopppable!!

Thanks! I am trying to get it to under 3000 without driver and keep the A/C and full interior. I am getting close. The GT2 is an incredible car and under appreciated in the motorsport world. I was very impressed to see you went straight to the serious motor mods, no messing around! I can't wait to see some time slips.

I have mine set up for road course enjoyment and she will probably never see a drag strip. She has all of the Evoms bolt on mods and makes great power. It's the delivery that I am not totally satisfied with. The power is too on/off and there is considerable lag coming out of corners. If I am following a well set up n/a car exiting the corners especially up hill, they will pull away from me as my foot is flat on the floor, then boost hits and BAM you have to be careful if its not pointed perfectly straight. Fun, but I need more low end power and a more linear response.

I was thinking the GT 640 turbos, rods, valves and porting/polishing would help improve this. I guess I need to talk to Todd and get my car to AZ.

I like the drags and the track. The 640/700 is perfect for both in my opinion, because you have smaller, faster spooling turbos, that deliver neck-snapping power. I've got a considerable amount of power around 3400rpms, with the K24s it didn't come on until after 4200rpms. The EVOMS hybrid turbos give much more linear acceleration in my opinion, I'm looking forward to being able to do a bit of throttle steering with this car.

I think that a modded GT2 with a 640/700 kit is the ultimate performance car; while there are obviously other cars that can beat it in a single category (and not by much) The modded GT2 is the best overall combination of power, handling, braking, exclusivity, looks and the "exotic" factor.

Nice! Considering the temps that would translate to at least 660 RWHP!

Here's my predictions for trapspeeds on Friday night, 139 to 141 MPH!

I'm not sure you'd benefit as much from doing the heads/valves unless you go to big big turbos but for sure on the 700s, I'd like the motor built Spend the money on strength first like the rods, pistons, head studs, head gaskets etc.... I'll post pix in a bit for you The GT700 is going to spool light years ahead of what you have now. I doubt you'll be worried about lag anymore that's for sure.

PS OK get some cams:P

That would be nice, but in 110f, might be doubtful. I guess we'll see

I think it'll do it, I'm basing it on your actual RWHP numbers in similar weather

Ruf 650 GT2

[quote=Phoenix]vincentdds,

I agree with Phoenix's estimates on the Ruf builds.

Went to the dragstrip tonight....

Got rained out

I'm going to try again tomorrow.

I did have some fun on the way there and back with Luis993 and GemballaGTR on the freeway though
