Ruf is currently building me a RT12 650hp 3.8 for my 03 GT2. It would really be fun to get together and compare builds. I would really like to see the great work that EVO does on a GT2 platform.

Just dropped her back off at EVOMS for the intercooler and axle install. The axles should be coming in today and the ICs were in and ready for install, here are some pics (note the larger end tanks for increased air flow):

vincentdds,

I had a chance to ask Ruf Auto Centre that exact same question.

The answer......

It costs about $85,000-$90,000. For comparison's sake the 590 package costs $70,000. According to Ruf Auto Centre the 650 motor would take around 10-12 weeks to be completed. Of course the motor has to be shipped to Germany as you know already.

I think we met already? And if so you're always welcome to check out a GT700 (with an engine build) or GT800 etc.. there are a few in the bay area. Just finishing another one off this week...

Looks sweet. I have the NA TB and modified Y-Pipe. Mine must be one of the cutting torch / sledge hammer early modles. (Note to self - wait a little longer before buying!)

You're right! I wish I had my Carrera Gt on the track with these guys. Looks like fun.
