Hot as hell!
Hot as hell!
Drove to the cleaners on Sat and the on-board outside air temp read 116 degrees!
I'm going to park the TT until the weather cools down a bit. That's got to be torture on a turbo car..

Surely that would be Fahrenheit, lol
I was down South France recently and was roughly about 104/105 F, remember thinking how the car is way less responsive to the heat!
Would like to know from Mark or others some figures in power loss through hot weather!
Hot's not bad...
The air temperature in Marin county was in the 80's, which is hot for the area. There was one benefit. No drone or resonance with my Fabspeed! I fell in love all over again!
I live in LA dam it... i pay for the better weather...but 110 on Friday and Saturday and sunday are like Humid florida heat waves...I want my balmy 75 with a mild breeze...This is B>S...
as for power loss... I feel the difference at 110... car just isnt as responsive i feel....or its me sweating like a fat kid in a snow coat on a sunny beach...LOL..

for everyone else, the power loss comes from the less dense air. if i remember correctly, it's a 1:1 correspondance between air density differential and power. for example, if the density differential is 5%, you will lose 5hp.
in practical terms, i believe it was every 5 degrees = 1 less hp.
