Its alright though. We would have been undefeated for the night if Scott had kept the car in gear. We did reel a Camaro in that was "racing" from about three car lengths back with 5 people in the Panamera Turbo though!!

Okay, so let me explain this before people get the wrong idea.

I'm driving the Panamera TT, while Ben, his girl, and a 1320video.com cameraman are all in back. In the passenger seat is a 6'2", 230lb corn-fed dude named "Matt" (great guy) who's one of the UGR videographers. Matt decided it would be a great idea to stand up in the car and film through the sunroof at speeds 'slightly' over 60 mph.

Anyway, while attempting to balance himself, he inadvertantly hit the Panamera's gear selector located in the center console with his size 13W foot, and knocked it into 'manual' mode. I didn't realize this had happened until I stomped the throttle on a freeway on-ramp and the car all of the sudden hit the rev-limiter since it was stuck in 2nd gear. We hit the rev-limiter, the car slows down almost like I'd stomped the brakes, I'm trying to figure out what the hell just happened, and Ben immediately seizes the opportunity to start pointing and laughing.

We did reel a Camaro in that was "racing" from about three car lengths back with 5 people in the Panamera Turbo though!!
Ha ha...I almost felt bad for the guy.

Thank you, it's nice to be here!

Honestly I've had a few 997s and by comparison I don't even think I need to say how bad the handling is lol. However they are straight line missles with minor mods and the car was driven round trip 1050 miles to the track to race and back. 2x in 30 days now.

Correct just ECU and TCU tuning via MHP. Also 265/40/18 DRs and Drop-in BMC filters. That's it.

Looking forward to doing a full exhaust and picking up a RENNtech air intake.

Run was 8.04 @ 0% decline I believe (done on NHRA strip).

Ran a best of 11.01@128.3 yesterday at MIR. Should have folded the mirrors in to crack 10s damnit!

Great info!!! This car has been on my radar for a while as it is the only car that fits our criteria...hardtop convertable and 2 turbos. My 996 Turbo will likely be for sale soon and will be looking for one of these...

If that's the case then this is your car!

I'm sure you'll miss the 996 but the 65s are fun as well.

Thanks!

Also fyi "Mert" I tried responding to your PM reg the 100-150 list but couldn't pm back since I don't have over 15 posts. I had someone fwd you the data although as I said we never got that high due to being on a dragstrip making 1/4 mile passes. Great to know there's another bar out there though, will work toward getting numbers for you soon!

Thanks!!!

Thank you sir!

Holy crap nice numbers in your sig to boot!! Wow. I told Keith aka DadsC63 about the 100-150 list and he's pumped too. Anyone ever think of doing 80-180, etc? Just curious as to how 100-150 came up.

Thanks!
