Used Europipe

Just bought a Europipe Stage II (Quiet) on Ebay. Just wondering before I pay the guy, what should he give me. Actual pics, receipt from Europipe? Is there a serial number on the exhaust that I can cross reference with Europipe?

You should have asked for fotos BEFORE the auction ended now all you have to do is pay (use Paypal) and wait for reception. If something is not as advertised you talk to him, if he doesn't cooperate then you file a complain on Paypal.

I believe you are obligated to buy as you are the winning bidder. It might be nice to see actual pics now, just to see if the exhaust matches the description in the ad. If it doesn't, you might have grounds to dispute this with Ebay.

I would pay with a credit card through PayPal. Your credit card company can help you out in a dispute if the exhaust does not match the description in the ad. I received nonfunctional goods once in an Ebay auction, and my credit card company got me a full refund when the seller was uncooperative. Make sure you have copies of all correspondence with the seller including a copy of the Ebay ad.

Good luck! The EP stage 2Q is a great sounding and performing exhaust.

9Eleven: Do you go by udaman2005 on Ebay? If so I was bidding on this exhaust (auction # 330015380447) as well. You beat me out. I just got an email from the seller for a second chance offer. This usually means that the winning bidder didn't pay. From what you're saying though you are going to pay for it. I just wanted to warn you in case the seller is trying to rip you off.

Yes, that's me. I e-mailed him with some questions. Gave him my cell number and we are going to talk tomorrow. He hasn't answered any of my questions yet. I don't know why he would offer you a second chance when the first chance (me) hasn't fallen through, strange. I think the guy was trying to sell it on this forum. Check out the parts section, Europipe Stage II, even though this one is a loud version, it seems very similar. The guy is trading in his car and he lives in Chicago like the e-bayer. If he is pulling a scam, he's messing with the wrong guy. I have many, many, many, connections in law enforcement. Including some in Chicago.

Seems like the correct price. I recently sold an EP2 Loud, with the X54 tips, for U$3K.

I'll let you know what happens. Did you do your red dials yourself?

Warning!!!! Make sure that the second offer from the Ebay auction is indeed from the seller. It is only a genuine second offer if it is listed in your Ebay's message box. If the second offer is only found in your personal email inbox and not in the Ebay mailbox, then it is a fraud. I am not saying the auction is a fraud, but the second offer is a fraud. Do not send any money, especially if they want you to Western Union the money. All this happened to me about a month ago.

You can also check if a Second Offer is Valid thru Ebay:

Really be carefull with the second chances...I even got an ebay e-mail saying someone had just sent me $1000 via paypal and when would I ship (I wasn't selling anything)...

Also numerous e-mails saying my account would be suspended because someone may be using it, please sign in, etc...Ebay has recently addressed this so now if it doesn't show in your ebay messages it ain't real.

Yes I picked the dials up from Tom @ Brandywine great price too! Very easy install took about 45 min total. I would take a digital photo of the guage needle placement. A full tank of gas is recommended too. I was lucky to have the OBDII software on my laptop to verify all of the dials were correct. this is also helpful.

Be careful on Second chance offers. There are lots of scammers out there who copy the true Ebay second chance offer page and make it appear real. I recently had it happen to me with the second chance offer and the person was offering free shipping (his brother owned a shipping company- B.S.), etc. and when I kept asking more questions, they never responded. 9Eleven: I believe my second chance offer was a fake since it didn't appear in My Messages within my Ebay account. I have gotten these recently on exhaust that I have bid on. I would ask questions and the responses were always the same no matter what I asked.

I was bidding too and got a second chance offer last night at 5:14pm. I'll have to check my messages account on ebay as well. Interesting.

I wouldn't be surprised if everyone who bid on that exhaust is on 6speed.
