GMG Qualifies in third for this weekends Speed Gt Race.

The Top 3 are
1 Archer Viper ( Dodge SRT Factory )
2 Aschenbach 997 ( Groom Racing)
3 Sofronas 996 ( GMG )

We are excited about our results for this weekendd qualifying - The Super Fast Road America Circuit is well suited for the Porsche Cars-

WOW WOW WOW!!!! That's outstanding!!!!!!

I thought my 2:28 on street tires was decent (I was leaving quite a bit on the table in the kink, 13, etc.) but 2:15! Damnnn! And you're well ahead of the big boys too. Great job.

Bring home some hardware and keep it safe!

Ya we are on Toyo Ra 1 DOT tires- which arent the hot set up- If we had a slick we could probably get into the high 12's - low 13's ... Thats lap times for all your 1/4 milers out there..

The car is good - James likes this track its high speed stuff..Hes good at it..
We just need to settle in behind the viper and 997- And attack at the later part of the race.... Well see how it goes---
We are hitting about 170 down the straights... So we are moving as you can see....

Fabryce: What happened at the race. I couldn't see it but you lost 6 laps but still posted a fine race pace? Something break? Track notes noted smoke?

Thanks for all the support this weekend- We had an awesome car - But as racing goes- **** happens...........
James had contact with the 997 of Imery fighting for position and broke a lower a ball joint pin... Its one of those parts that never fails...
Thus sending him into the pits- The crew got the part replaced and the car back on track to salvage what we could of the race..

The good thing is we are now allowed to remove some weight
So that will help...

Next race Mosport.......... Labor day weekend.........
The car is strong and we feel we have a good shot at that track...

Thanks again for all the support............... You guys have been great coming out and cheering us on from race to race... Always a pleasure to meet 6speeders from across the country...........
