yeah F car sounds nice...but i dont think you can get a testa for under 100k... I am thinking the Cayman now sine i seen the TechArt Body kit for it... thats sexy...but i just dont think it has the stock zest i am seeking... i am looking for a 12 second car... that tosses the M3 and the cayman out the window... as at the ends day if i have to modd the car then i still wanna keep it under 60 or maybe even 70...as i am about to dump about 100k into the turbo.
well the only thing that will remain are the block, spacer and head and thats after being modified... I am going to do it all... I want the bad boy on the street corner... i am applying years of japaness and american muscle building into the german market... The intake system will be redone, the tranny, diff, and ecu will all be in house custom work.... i want to have the car to race in the silver stakes race next november... lets put it this way... i figure i am almost done with the wish list...and when i am done in the next week or so i will start to tear down the car... i am going to use one of my spare garages and start to see the entire car as is... gonnna strip it down....replace the doors with the kevlar carbon doors...have a set of fenders made and so fourth... i figure over 60k in motor work and about 40k in making the car run better with the motor i use... I figure full boost should come on at 3200 and stay constant till 8k or so... keeping its use as a track car and making it a better 1/4...
I figure this...the old saying is "There will always be someone faster and better than you..."

you should just buy a very used up 996TT Coupe for this project and sell the Cab. The money you make from the difference between selling the cab and buying the coupe will pay for most of if not all the motorwork alone! As for what car to get, in the mean time, I'd look at an M3 and mod it a bit. Throw a supercharger on it which wont take too long and it'll be putting down 12's easily with very little down time.
