VW Dealer Recommendation in Northern CA

Thinking of trading the wife's '03 Jag S-type R in for a '07 VW GTI (love those DSG's and 2.0T!!! Just think what Evo can do with that setup!!!). Is there a VW dealer in Northern CA that someone would recommend? Never bought a VW before, so no prior experience to speak of. TIA.

Just to tangentially keep this thread on topic (to the tt), the latest corner-balancing on my '01 tt showed that all the weight reduction efforts by Sharky and James have paid dividend big times. Compared to when it was last weighed in April when it came in at 3520 lb, it now comes in at 3360 lb (I know, Alex, it's 10 lb lighter than what I told you, but then I found we left a bunch of stuff, like the sills, in the trunk when it went to Tony!). I'm pretty happy at this weight, plus I really can't think of anything obvious to remove/replace at this point for further weight reduction

Again, TIA for the VW referral.

Thanks Arling! Just dropped Alex911 a PM. I'm just leary of the dealers who tell me that they're "honest", unlike all the other dealers....

Alex911s is a good guy YoWils.. You also have a "sickness" lol I'm very happy you went with those JRZs after all the suspension woes. Those things are unreal.

PS I gotta try this DSG thing out...

Hey! This is unrelated to my own sickness--this is for the wife, really (which means all mods must be kept hush-hush). I mean, if it were up to me, I would've gotten an GTI instead....Uh, no, I mean, a Civic! Yeah, that's the ticket!

Ahhh, yes, the JRZ's....I bow in its general direction. I'm not worthy!

You've got to try out those DSG's. Especially in the GTI or GLI with the flat-bottom steering wheel and Recaro buckets! I--uh, I mean the wife--just love it!
