you dont want an exhausts too loud!
too much attention ..........Cops!!!
I got ticketed twice in 6 months after I installed the TechArt exhausts!
sometime I regret putting them in.....
but what can I say.... its on the car already!
Cops do not bother people around here about exhausts. My dad had a 360 with Tubi, and we never had a problem, and my M5 had Tubi, that was pretty loud, and I never had a problem. I appreciate you lookin out for me, but I just have to have that exhaust, I love loud!!!

Where did you get your Techart stuff man?? As stated above I plan on trying to do a full kit.
Thanks,
Evan

What would happen if I put an X-50 exhaust on my stock 2003 turbo? Would it be louder? Would I get more HP?

Thanks
Arnie

Arnie I do not think it would make much difference. I have one you could have for cheap if interested.

EM 996 GTS - you are scaring me now!!
I am so confused whether I should get the loud Race version or the quieter Sport??
Also, since you have the race - is it really loud inside the cabin?? Can you have a conversation if the windows are closed??

I will make a video soon.... after I install my new DVs.

I think its somewhat similar to Fabspeed (loud) sound.... because my friend have it installed on his 2001 TT

you can certaintly talk in the car.... I just can't hear to well when I am using my cellphone. Plus it takes about 1000 miles to cooked the exhausts....

Hell,i'm getting a little confused. It seems a lot of people like Techart gear, like myself, but their exhaust systems dont seem to get much praise compared with Fabspeed or Europipe. Why?Is this the weak link in the Techart range or something?Or am i just being paranoid 'cause i have a Techart 'sport' system on backorder and the more i read, the more i cross my fingers that i have made the right choice? And if anyone is familiar with both the 'sport' and 'racing' versions could they PLEASE let me know if the 'sport' version is going to be a good step up from the factory X50 system.I'm not looking for something to drive the whole street crazy, just something to aurally remind me of what a class car i am driving. And unfortunately the factory system just doesn't get the blood pumping fast enough!!

Who needs an exhaust anyways? Just drop it off and clamp on some ghetto straight pipes... you'll get all the power you ever need, right? And it's quiet as hell too...

just heard back from Techart that due to their supplier the 'sport' exhaust is not going to make it to my place for quite a few weeks, which leaves my with a problem.Do i A)get the 'race' system which is in stock right now.If it turns out to be too loud im screwed B)Ask for a refund and get another brand exhaust system. If i do,which one is going to give me that ear to ear smile that im looking for?Europipe, fabspeed,Tubi,or WHAT?
I have made many purchases over the net,but buying an exhaust is turning out to be the most,well....EXHAUSTING !!
