Boost Leak Fixed
Boost Leak Fixed
Just got my car back today from the shop. I was getting the system pressure tested, the diverter valves checked out and the EVO intercoolers installed. As it turns out, 1 of my diverter valves had kinda vallen apart. My new mechanic, who I am VERY impressed with, discovered that the piece that sticks out to the side, where a hose clamps on, had come loose (another GLUE issue!). None the less he fixed it. He also found a couple of other areas where my local dealer had done a very poor job of connecting the silicone boost hoses and, hence, they were leaking also.
I also got new plugs and replaced a couple of coil packs as a precautionary measure to resolve my reoccuring P0301 & P0305 CEL. My car has never felt so responsive. Boost spools very fast. Now if someone could just make me a dual MAF system, I would be set!
This weekend I'm going to attempt to install my new BBS Aluminum Racing wheels (18x8.5 & 18x12) along with the new RA1s (245 & 335). This will be m y first attempt with a fender roller. Should be exciting!

I've had the slightest rubbing on the right rear since adding 15mm spacers.

I saw a lot of bosxter in Pastel yellow, I believe is a standard color for bosxter in 98 to 99. But in Turbo, is color to sample option. Pastel yellow is not for everyone, people either love it or hate it.

Well first congrats on getting the leak fixed, I feel my maf sensor going a bit, sometimes its extremely fast and throttle response as well, other times sluggish, I know its the maf so I'm going to clean it, feels awesome and fresh so I know how you feel
As for the fender rolling, my friend had the same machine and it wouldn't bolt onto my hub, the diameter was too small and according to my shop they make 2 adapters , hope you got the correct size! I just rolled my fenders at my shop, did it the old fashion way with a baseball bat and nice and slow, no more rubbing
btw I'm jealous of your wheels haha!
