will these rims fit?
will these rims fit?
Hi been looking for different wheels and been offered a set of;
18x9" et45
18x11" et45
Question is would they fit my car without any problems? I was planing on going to 235's on the front with the wider wheels too. Thanks again, scott.

I think both will 'fit' but I'd suggest getting some spacers to go with them (which kinda defeats the purpose of changing to custom wheels.
The rears are same as your OEs (ie 18, 11, 45)...and most will say that 45 is wimply.....and some will go as low as 31 or so.
Ditto on the fronts....too far 'in' for my taste....my quick math says maybe even a milimeter or 3 in from OE.
Good luck to ya.

they've got polished rims (1" front 2.5/3" rear) so "look" a lot more aggresive to me. Not to bothered as long as nothing rubs and they look the part without ruining tyres every 1500 miles! cheers scott.
Factory wheels:
996 TURBO:
F: 18x8 (50mm offset) TIRE: 225/40/18
R: 18x11 (45mm offset) TIRE: 295/30/18
The only difference on your set is the front wheels. They are 1" (25.4mm)wider and had 5mm less offset (which means that 5mm pushes the wheels to the outside). You end up with 20mm to the inside. This may cause some inside rub. Test fit it and try it.. If it's too snug, use a 5mm spacer and try it again. If not, go to a 10 of 15mm spacer.
With the wider front wheel/tire, it will understeer less; which is good for me.
