996TT to 993TT?
I do not know if they were ever sold in the U.S.,
but if i get the chance of getting 993, it would be the GT2.
I heard it was actually almost as fast as 996 GT2, and one hell of a car to drive.
I love the looks of the 993TT, but if i was in the same situation thinking about going back to 993 from 996, my answer is no.
btw, friend of mine told me that he knows you pretty well iLLm3, and told me that you are thinking of selling the TT you got right now..

One day I will build a 96 C2S with a 3.8L or 4.3L TT motor
(maybe that's the route you should go)
