GT3 CUP ducts are different from the regular gt3. I have the cup ducts on my car and they work fine. They do hang a bit lower on the car so you may scrape them but they are flexible. It would appear that they should grab alot more air for cooling the front brakes.

I looked into doing those but, they were going to be too low with my coil over kit. I had my shop run some cooling hoses in from the front and out the front end of the wheel well. It works very good.

GT3 CUP ducts up front, they are not the same as the regular GT3 ducts. these are two pieces riveted together. My car is as low as they go and yes the ducts hang down, but havent ripped a front one off yet, notice I said front. the rear ducts are from the GT2 and yeah ripped one off running over a piece of rubber at the track.
This set up is cheap, 30% more brake duct air flow and OEM porsche motorsports parts.
Running ducts like mitch did is awesome but if like the sportec set up can be very expensive but effecient and badass.

The CUP ducts replace the factory pieces.

yes u can. however, the ducts extend downward differently depends on the factory rotor sizes. for example, the GT3 front steel rotor is different (smaller) than the PCCB rotor & Turbo is smaller than GT3. gonna make sure the the air channel is directly guided to the rotor otherwise it's pointless having it. what size rotor are u running on the upgraded brake?

I want to run 380mm rotors. So I guess I will have to modify the duct or use a duct to mold a new one.

Does anyone have a picture of the duct not installed on a car?

I 've got the "full GT2" ducts F/R and they helped at the track and were easy to install. I would recommend them IMHO.

you can easily rivet some rubber/plastic floor coping to the stock ones. the coping is much more pliable. you can always replace the added coping when wornn out. easy and simple. I went through a couple sets of the GT3's.
