Stiff Clutch Pedal

Over the past couple of days I've had the opportunity to get some really hard driving under my belt. I've noticed the clutch pedal feel changes the longer I drive the car hard, and returns to normal whe I cool things down. The feel of the pedal becomes 'gritty' and requires more pressure. Any ideas?

AlanS is infamous around these parts
Check the clutch accumulator

It may be the clutch pressure accumulator. It's a common problem with the 996TT. Search for clutch accumulator on this board. Someone posted instructions on how to replace it. It's a relatively easy fix.
